Today Hallie is joined by Dr. Laura Glazebrook DPT.; a pelvic floor trained physical therapist and scoliosis specialist. Dr. Glazebrook shares her personal history with scoliosis as well as her journey as a mom of children with tethered oral tissue (ToTs). She also provides information on the connection between the pelvic floor and the jaw as well as the possible connection between scoliosis and ToTs. She and Hallie discuss team building and the need for collaboration between professionals. I have felt this way since the beginning of my career, how if a kid had a problem with autism apraxia say, they needed OT or even Pt, and so on and so was ahead of my time, and now hearing all this from you, knowing that you see it even further like scoliosis, and pelvis, amazing, and also I think social workers should be seen by all families and go even further….thank you for the Big Picture!!!!
I never thought of fiber as promoting chewing as well as in the gastronomical system. I really feel like this Podcast was the very best I’ve heard yet.
